Hello people! Today I will be interviewing my friend Dana. M is me, and D is Dana.

M =  So Dana, what are some of your favorite hobbies?
D = Singing, writing, skiing, stuff like that.
M = Which one is your favorite?
D= Well I like- I really like all of them
M = But if you had to choose one, which would it be?
D = I don't know.
M = I'll try something different. Are you writing anything right now?
D = Yeah
M= What?
D= I'm writing my social studies homework.
M= Have you ever gone skating?
D= Yeah. I used to all the time. But I haven't in a while now.
M= What are some of your favorite books?
D= Percy Jackson/ Heroes of Olympus, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and Maximum Ride.
M= What is one of your favorite authors?
D= I'm going to list them all : Rick Riordan, J.K. Rowling, Suzanne Collins, and James Patterson
M= Those are the authors to your favorite books right?
D= yeah

LAKESIDE OPENING (2)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lakeside is opening in 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait. As I stated in my other post, the opening is on Friday the 20th. The awesome thing about Lakeside is that you can get a seasonal pass, which means that you bring this pass each time you go skating, and it'll provide you for the entire season. On the right is what Lakeside will look like in the summer, a water play area and roller skating rink, and on the left, (what I'm excited about) is what Lakeside will look like in the winter, the skating rink. LAKESIDE OPENING!!!!!

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For you ice skaters out there,Prospect Park's ice skating rink was renovated a  few years ago. For about 2 years, Lakeside ( the new name for the rink) has said they would open, but never did. BUT NOW, LAKESIDE SENT OUT A EMAIL SAYING THAT THEY WERE GOING TO OPEN ON  DEC. 20th ! That is 18 days from now! I am in a convenient  location, so I can get to the rink in about 5 minutes! It is said that the rink will be HUGE (2 rinks actually, one for hockey and one for regular skating/ figure skating), and just 4 months  ago I went on a tour of the construction site and it's true! the rinks are really huge! I plan to practice everyday when I come home from school.

Hello, I know I've been blogging about ice skating continuously, but I am just so excited and curious about who is going to compete in the winter Olympics this year! The bronze medalist last year was Joannie Rochette. I wonder if she will compete again this year...

WINTER OLYMICS!!!

Hello,

The Winter Olympics are being hosted this year (2014) and I am so excited! For figure skating fans, 

who do you think will win? My personal favorite is Kim Yuna, who won the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her score was 228.56, a new world record! I wonder if she'll have another go at the gold this year... Mao Asada came in second place, and she had a total score of 205.50. Please feel free to comment and tell me about your personal favorites :-)

As we all know, Christmas is in about a month and a fourth. I cannot wait! I am already counting the days until the suspenseful Christmas Eve! Surprisingly, I am not so into getting a lot of presents this year. What I am really looking forward to is seeing family! (Also staying in luxurious hotels).
